Winter Games Hi5Netball

A team of Y5 and Y6 pupils will attend a tournament at Weobley High School to compete against other local schools on Wednesday 1st November.  We will leave school at 1pm and return by the end of the school day. Help with transport from parents is still needed.

Football and Netball v Stretton

A team of netball and a team of football players from Y5 and Y6 will compete in their first matches of the year on Thursday 12th October after school.  We will be playing at home and parents are welcome to come and cheer us on.

New PE equipment arrives

Thanks to the sponsorship money from last year's paralympian event and the Sainsbury's vouchers we have just received a massive shipment of new PE equipment to use this year. Mrs Eckley is very excited!

Go Staunton Hockey Team!

Two teams from Staunton are playing hockey against other schools hosted by Weobley on Wednesday. We wish them enjoyment and luck!

New FoSS chair voted in

Catherine (Poppy's Mum) is the new FoSS chair and will lead the active fundraising parents into another successful year. Thank you to Jodie for her hard work as she steps down into vice-chair.

Annual Weobley Ploughing Match Success!

Well done to everyone in Class 2 and particularly our 10 prize winners.  All the entries are on display in our classroom and the winning entries are on display in the entrance foyer.

Thank you to everyone who bought apples in for pressing. Bottles of apple juice are to be sold on Friday.

Apple and Pear pressing tomorrow

Please bring in a bag of pears or apples tomorrow (Wednesday) for the school gardening group to press. Juice will be for sale at the end of the day with garden produce. Thank you

Annual Weobley Ploughing Match

This week Class 2 will be preparing their entries for the Annual Weobley Ploughing Match competition. This year's categories include handwriting and a decorated jam jar.  We are hoping to recreate the success we had last year!

Children return Wednesday

Maths Games return

Ice Creams

The Ice creams made a fantastic £57 today. Thank you all again for your support over the past year, we have raised well over £4000 which will now be spent on many more wonderful things for our children. Thank you FoSS

Congratulations Year 6 – SATs results

The year 6 children this year worked so hard, learning and preparing for SATs. The results are out today and it confirms that each and every child did their very best. Well done!
